Why the Best Water Solutions Start With the Right Partnerships

The water sector has always relied on collaboration - between utilities, contractors, manufacturers and regulators. But AMP8 is raising the stakes. With record investment, tightening efficiency targets and pressure to deliver at pace, the relationships that underpin delivery matter more than ever.

Being named as a finalist at this year's Water Industry Awards alongside Severn Trent Water was a moment we were genuinely proud of. Not because awards are the point, but because of what the recognition represents: two organisations working closely together, with a shared goal, and getting real results.

Our LoFlo framework agreement with Severn Trent- supplying NRv2 LoFlo across one of the UK's largest water networks - wasn't just a commercial win. It was a blueprint for what effective supplier-utility collaboration can look like. Aligned on objectives from the start. Open communication throughout. A solution that fitted seamlessly into existing operations, rather than creating new ones.

That's what good partnership looks like in practice. Not a supplier dropping off a product and walking away, but working together to understand the challenge, adapt the approach and keep improving as deployment scales up.

AMP8 will be defined by the sector's ability to deliver consistently, at volume, and without cutting corners on quality or service. That's not something any single organisation can do alone.
