At Smart Eco Engineering Ltd., we are proud to introduce the Smart Water Reuse Platform (SWRP), an innovative solution that integrates advanced wastewater treatment with IoT-enabled monitoring to deliver efficient and scalable water recycling. The system is built around our Advanced Membrane Bioreactor (AMBR) technology, a compact and modular unit designed to treat wastewater to a high standard for non-potable applications such as toilet flushing, irrigation, horticulture, farming, and cleaning.

By enabling safe on-site grey water reuse, the platform significantly reduces reliance on potable water and supports sustainable water management in buildings. The integration of IoT allows real-time monitoring of system performance, water usage, and energy consumption, providing actionable insights to optimise operations and improve efficiency.

Our prototype unit has been successfully developed and tested in our laboratory, demonstrating reliable performance, high-quality treated water output, and effective digital monitoring capabilities. Following these successful trials, we are now progressing toward commercial deployment and are in the process of finalizing a MoU with partners in the commercial hotel sector for real-world implementation. In the coming months, the system will be installed and evaluated on-site to assess water reuse efficiency and sustainability impact, marking an important step toward large-scale adoption.

In addition, the system supports circular resource use by enabling the safe recovery of treated sludge, which can be repurposed as a nutrient-rich fertilizer for agricultural applications. This further enhances the environmental benefits of the platform by reducing waste and promoting sustainable resource management.

Through this innovation, Smart Eco Engineering aims to support buildings in reducing potable water demand, improving operational efficiency, and contributing to a more sustainable and water efficient future.
