Hubbell Enclosures Launches Next-Generation Sealed Boundary Box for the UK Water Sector

Demonstrating its continued commitment to smart metering excellence, Hubbell Enclosures is proud to introduce a new and innovative Sealed Boundary Box range, purpose-built for the UK water sector.

Developed to address the challenges facing utilities, installers, and asset owners, the new design incorporates a series of advanced features engineered to improve installation speed and consistency, reduce failures and costly return-to-site visits, and significantly enhance smart meter communications through improved signal propagation.

To ensure compliance with industry standards, Hubbell has partnered with WaterFit Ltd  of Dudley to ensure full WRAS approval for the meter carrier componentry of the new product range.

Manufactured entirely in the United Kingdom, the new sealed boundary box and replacement lid range reinforces Hubbell's commitment to quality, supply chain resilience, and local production. Full production units will be available from Q4 2026.
