Murray McIntosh achieves Achilles UVDB Silver Plus accreditation
A 100% audit score, built on four years of delivery for Anglian Water’s @one Alliance, makes specialist water recruitment faster and simpler to procure
Water companies are under more pressure than ever to deliver AMP8 programmes quickly, compliantly and with the right people. Recruitment partners who can meet all three demands, and who are already pre-qualified within utility procurement frameworks, are hard to find.
Future Water member Murray McIntosh has just made that simpler. The specialist water recruitment consultancy has been awarded Achilles UVDB Silver Plus accreditation, scoring 100% in the independent audit. It met every standard Achilles set across health and safety, quality, environmental management and corporate social responsibility.
For water utility buyers, this means bringing in Murray McIntosh to source contractors or permanent staff is now faster, simpler and fully compliant with their procurement framework.
Shaped by work with Anglian Water
Murray McIntosh’s partnership with Anglian Water’s @one Alliance drove much of the accreditation. The relationship began in 2022, when the firm supplied contractors through @one delivery partners. As the volume of work grew, the partnership moved to a more direct footing with Anglian Water. That raised the bar on compliance, and Achilles was the logical next step.
To date, Murray McIntosh has placed 65 contractors across all four @one business units, with roles spanning design, delivery and commercial.
“Utility companies need recruitment partners they can trust, move at pace with, and procure without friction. Scoring 100% in the Achilles audit reflects the standards we’ve held ourselves to throughout our work in the sector. This accreditation means clients can now access that track record without the procurement headache,” said Adam Cave, Managing Director of Murray McIntosh.
With AMP8 investment ramping up across the sector, the question isn’t whether water companies need specialist talent. It’s whether their recruitment partner is ready, and Murray McIntosh is 100% ready.
