Help Drive Change – Contribute to the New Future Water Report Card
We’re updating the Future Water Report Card—and your insight is more important than ever.
Now covering even more of the sector, this refreshed version of the Report Card builds on from the success of the first version and expands its scope to reflect the complexity and challenge facing our industry. It remains grounded in honesty—providing a clear-eyed, independent view of sector performance—and aims to go further by acting as a driver for real change.
The Report Card was born from Networks November, a month of events and engagement that brought together voices from across the water sector. With input from over 100 stakeholders, it offered an academic-style A*–F grading across eight key areas, from leakage and innovation to asset health and skills—capturing a snapshot of the sector’s strengths, gaps, and opportunities.
This next phase isn’t just about updating grades. It’s about sharpening our collective understanding, broadening the conversation, and building a shared, credible platform for change. With the addition of new categories, the Report Card will not only track progress but help the sector anticipate risk, spark collaboration, and shape future priorities.
By contributing your perspective, you’ll be playing a vital role in shaping a sector-wide tool that informs decisions, challenges the status quo, and supports long-term resilience and improvement.
We’d love to hear from you.
