Future Water Association exists for one reason: to help transform the UK water sector. That mission is as urgent now as it has ever been. The challenges facing the sector are complex and interconnected- aging assets, climate volatility, tighter environmental expectations, new regulatory demands, and rising pressure on customer outcomes. These aren’t issues any single organisation can solve in isolation. They require shared leadership, collective learning, and a willingness to rethink what “good” looks like.

Our Impact Report shows how progress has been made through collaboration, innovation, and honest conversation across the sector. This report isn’t just about numbers. It reflects the real difference being created through shared effort and engagement over the past year. The involvement, insight, and support from our members, partners and stakeholders has helped drive meaningful change.

One of the big drivers has been the 50+ events, which have been a catalyst for positive change. Giving members multiple opportunities to get in the room with the right people and move conversations forward.

As we look to the future, we have a number of events coming up. A chance celebrate individuals and teams who have paved a better route for water at the Future Water Awards - make sure to nominate by 1st May. Plus, we're always on the lookout for the next innovation in the sector with our Water Dragons competition - and we're encouraging anyone with the next best idea to enter.

We are proud of what has been achieved over the last year, and even more focused on what comes next.
