Prof. Joby Boxall
Professor of Water Infrastructure Engineering, University of Sheffield
Joby Boxall is Professor of Water Infrastructure Engineering at the University of Sheffield, and Head of Department of Civil and Structural Engineering. 
He is a Chartered Engineer and Environmentalist and Fellow of CIWEM. Joby’s research interests are concerned with understanding and modelling hydraulic, water quality and infrastructure performance.
His research focus is on water distribution systems, covering many aspects of both quantity and quality. His research is also concerned with the grand challenges facing water, his current flagship activity here is leading the EPSRC grand challenge consortium on sustainable clean water for all, TWENTY65.
