A one day masterclass comprehensively covering all aspects of Pipe Jacking and Micro Tunnelling.  

The programme will cover a selection of the following topics:

• Pipe jacking/micro tunnelling: range of capabilities and machines for differing  ground conditions – include undersea outfalls, etc.
• Geotechnical investigations for pipe jacking/micro tunnelling
• Selection & design of jacking pipes and joints – concrete, GRP, polycrete
• Shaft design and construction
• Above ground set ups for pipe jacking/micro tunnelling
• Monitoring ground movements
• Calculating and monitoring jacking loads
• Long distance & curved pipe jacking/micro tunnelling
• Case studies of difficult or record breaking drives

Early-bird Rate: £120 + VAT per delegate if booked before 20th March 2019
