What’s next in the UK water sector

Lanes Group has successfully completed a challenging multi-liner sewer rehabilitation project for Scottish Water, involving the installation of five liners in a nearly one-kilometre long drainage pipe. The project was delivered on time and within budget, utilising advanced UV lining technology.

Future Water Association hosted a workshop to encourage innovative thinking on reducing leakage in the water sector. Participants developed key strategies and identified several game changers for the industry to consider over the next decade.

Christine McGourty has been appointed as the new chief executive of Water UK, starting on 16th December 2019. She brings extensive experience from regulated industries and trade bodies.
