Hydraulic Modelling for the Water Industry: Technical Advances and Case Studies
19 June 2023, Midlands
www.imeche.org/hydraulicmodelling

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers welcomes members and their colleagues of supporting organisation Future Water Association, to this upcoming technical seminar.

This seminar will cover the assessments used to ensure water quality and to verify that infrastructure and equipment can deal with the expected design flows. Presentations will discuss a combination of computational (CFD) and physical modelling techniques, providing a technical review of the assessment criteria involved and significant modelling and experimental methods.

Speakers include Thames Water, Severn Trent, Hydro International, South East Water, Anglian Water, Stantec, Deltares, Peter Glover Consulting Ltd and more: full programme available online.

Join us to learn about recent and ongoing projects taking place within the water and wastewater industries and how new technologies are contributing to new developments in risk management and energy storage, as well increases in energy efficiency, waste reduction and maintaining the supply and quality of drinking water.

Discount for Future Water members: simply book at the Supporting Organisation rate on the event website or contact the Event Enquiries team (eventenquiries@imeche.org) and mention your membership.
