SES Water have launched a public consultation on their drought plan and they are keen to hear your organisation’s views.
This plan, which is required by law, sets out the measures they will take when a drought occurs in their area and includes details of the restrictions on water use they would need to implement to manage the situation. It also explains the circumstances in which they would apply for drought permits to take more water from selected sources to supplement their supplies.
SES Water have produced a consultation document, which summarises their technical plan, both of which can be accessed here. Also on this page is an online survey where you can feedback your views on their plan. The consultation closes on 30 July 2021.
