Strategic Technology Planning Manager – Wessex Water
Jody has 19 years of industry experience in consulting, contracting and the last 13 years at Wessex Water.
At Wessex Water Jody works in the asset strategy team and has been involved in writing the last two business plans. He has also been developing innovative strategic technology projects to meet the company’s future needs. Key recent projects are related to the end of BT services such as Private Wires and PSTN, he also managed the upgrade of the company’s telemetry system. He has past experience in hydraulic modelling and has run the operational pressure management and meter maintenance teams.
Most recently he has been investigating ways to manage the increase in network data and alarm information from the sewerage system using an open data approach and is sponsoring the development of solutions to mitigate the upcoming end of 2/3G mobile data services. He sits on the innovation steering group and water and wastewater networks solutions groups that are tasked with governing projects through the business that drive efficiencies and support meeting the company’s performance commitments.
