Winners of the 2022 Future Water Awards Announced

On Tuesday 22nd March, World Water day Future Water celebrated the best in the industry and their amazing contribution to the sector over the past year.

Mark Smith, Chair of Future Water introduced the awards by saying:

The challenges of the last couple of years has shown that there is a need for an organisation like Future Water, given the rapidly changing technological and political environment for the water industry along with the need for innovation at all levels, highlighted by the pandemic.

Future Water has refreshed our vision and strategy, to give a new sense of direction and as an organisation we are committed to our vision of shaping the future of water through collaboration, innovation and education and our purpose of unlocking the potential of the supply chain across the water sector.

Our awards reflects our core values as we recognise the best of people, who are at the heart of our sector and those who are leading by example. Future Water has always been about:

  • Connecting the sector by creating space to bring cross-sector stakeholders together and to exchange knowledge and expertise on critical water issues;
  • Inspiring the future through innovation activities, supporting the next generation, bringing a focus to EDI discussions; and
  • Utilising our members to challenge the status quo

Building on the last couple of years, Future Water will be ‘Digital First’ and continue to deliver services in ever more innovative ways. It’s exciting times and the forward agenda is our agenda!
