Waterwise Annual Conference 2021
15th March 2021 @ 9:00 am - 19th March 2021 @ 12:00 pm

Mainstreaming water efficiency: averting a UK water crisis
The Annual Waterwise Conference has been the major national water efficiency event in the UK since 2007. Environment Agency Chief Executive Sir James Bevan opened the 2019 conference with his now infamous ‘Jaws of Death’ speech, and the Waterwise Conference was all over the national news! In 2020 due to Covid-19 Waterwise migrated their conference into a first digital event, which was hugely successful, with hundreds of delegates and some great speakers and discussions.
Continuing with the digital format for the 2021 conference, the theme this year will be Mainstreaming Water Efficiency: averting a UK water crisis. Reflecting the critical role of water efficiency in both mitigating and adapting to the climate emergency, as well as to the environment and right across society and the economy.
Conference sessions will look at the role of Ambition, Housing, People and Comms, Business, Energy and Net Zero, and Environment in Mainstreaming Water Efficiency.
Sessions will last two hours, from 10am – 12 noon on Monday to Friday plus 1 – 3pm on Thursday.
