Training Programme for Water Professionals

7th July 2020 @ 8:00 am - 23rd July 2020 @ 5:00 pm

Isle are pleased to confirm that they have created fully facilitated, trainer-led, on-line e-learning.

So how is this training different to other courses offered?
The training is wholly interactive, with a live trainer (visible on video at all times, rather than simply slide), with

interactivities, planned quizzes, as well as informal Q&A’s throughout the session to engage the audience, along with IT support on-hand to aid delegates during the course. Mandatory pre-course preparation material is provided to all delegates, from a variety of sources in a variety of formats from technical papers and podcast, with an allotted learning time of 1-2 hours, as well as additional, (optional) post-course material should delegates wish to undertake further self-study CPD.

What courses are on offer?
The Programme for Water Professionals offers training under a set curriculum of Water Treatment (W), Wastewater Treatment (WW) and Sustainability & Leadership (S), as attached.

The courses are in the process of achieving CPD accreditation by the Institute of Water – they have been accredited by other similar institutions overseas as these courses have been hosted globally.

Emerging Pollutants (S)  – Tuesday 7th July  (£275.00 + VAT)

Preliminary Treatment (WW) – Tuesday 14th July (£195.00 + VAT)

Secondary Treatment: Activated Sludge (WW) – Thursday 16th July (£195.00 + VAT)

Catchment Management (W & S) – Thursday 23rd July (£275.00+ VAT)

Course Registration
Discounts of 10% are available for Future Water Water members
as well as multiple course participation and group registrations of three (3) or more learners from the same organisation.

Should you wish to sign up for an e-journey of training, please check your availability to ensure that you are able to attend the whole day (8.45am to 4pm), along with your ability to connect to Zoom. As the course is wholly interactive and quite engaging, past delegates have suggested keeping the day completely free of other scheduled calls or meetings or tasks – particularly as there is a “Proof of Learning” exercise (a test) at the conclusion of the course. To receive a CPD certificate of attendance, delegates are required to attain 70% in this test, and attend the whole course.

You will require a laptop with audio and visual capabilities (speaker, microphone and two-way webcam), along with a smartphone. Pen and paper are also advisable!

Should you have any queries or wish to register please contact training@isleutilities.com
