Covid-19 has initiated change on a massive scale: homeworking; digital communications; online food shopping (online shopping for everything!); daily exercise; changed priorities (redefinition of ‘necessity’); closure of international borders; role of government… and more. It is unclear at present which changes will endure and which will pass.

This seminar looks at 5 key forces – The 5 C’s – influencing Future Water Association members’ businesses and marketing activities as lock-down eases.

For anyone that wants to spend 60 minutes staring passively at a screen; this is not the seminar for you! It uses a series of exercises that delegates will work through and be able to replicate within their own organisations to gain new perspectives on the markets and customers they serve.


– Marketing and Covid-19: what has changed and what’s important? 

  • Introduction of the 5 C’s: Change, Compassion, Communications, Continuity, Competition

– Five marketing exercises:

  • Your customers’ journey: what can you do to help?
  • Brand: Is your customer the hero of the journey?
  • Calls to action: can you make them more compelling?
  • Thinking digital: What market role does your website and social media play?
  • Pivoting – the Covid-19 buzzword:  What does it mean, and does it apply to your business?


This session is free to members ( a maximum of 2 places per member company) with a charge of £40+VAT for non-members. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
