Planning the UK’s Water Infrastructure

5th September 2019

The first annual Planning the UK’s Water Infrastructure event will be taking place on 5th September in London. This one-day event will provide a complete update on the plans for water infrastructure including a focus on how to meet future water demands and create a resilient network. The agenda will also explore the delivery of new infrastructure and projects, but also how to improve existing infrastructure, through measures including the reduction in leakages and the use of new technology.

Benefits of attending:

• Hear how the industry needs to respond to meet future supply needs – what new infrastructure is needed and how can improvements be delivered to existing infrastructure
• Explore the regulatory framework for water and the forward planning for water infrastructure, considering if the current system fully supports the delivery of new infrastructure
• Understand the options for reducing leakage on the network, including a focus on new technologies and the use of data
• Consider the role of infrastructure in creating a more sustainable environment

Paul Horton, CEO, Future Water Association will be the event Chair.
