The Institute of Water & FWA – Addressing the Skills Gap Part 2
9th November 2023 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
The Institute of Water, CIWEM, and Future Water Association, supported by British Water, are delighted to announce Part 2 of Addressing the Skills Gap 2023, Building the Talent Pool for Now and the Future.
Why a Part 2?
Addressing skills gaps is an ongoing challenge that many sectors are facing. One that requires commitment, investment, and a focus on the long-term development of our workforce. That’s why we committed to building on the conference in June to create momentum for this effort.
Who is it for?
Those who attend the conference in person will be bringing their collective expertise to help take forward some of the key solutions suggested in Part 1 of the event. Don’t worry if you couldn’t be at the first conference in June, the key discussion points will be available prior to attending.
We are also looking for people who have the ability to take ideas back and implement them in their organisations. Participants will ideally be in HR, Learning and Development, DEI, Organisational Culture/Development, or have responsibility for leading and developing people or teams.
This event signifies a commitment to not only implement change on the day but to set actions for an ongoing process that will be designed to drive the sector.
If you are passionate about ensuring that our current and future workforce is equipped with the necessary skills to meet evolving demands, we encourage you to come along and help us implement change.
Speakers and event programme to be announced soon…
