Institute of Water – Weather and the Water Sector

The sun has got his hat on, hip hip hip hooray… lets face it, in the UK we are pretty much obsessed with the weather.

It’s always too hot, too cold, too wet and too dry – but the one thing it does provide is an endless source of conversation!

So you are invited to join the South West Area for a series of webinars throughout December exploring how forecasts and climate predictions are derived, and their use in the water sector.

The Institute of Water are running the following 5 free Webinars for you to join:

Session 1: Tuesday 1st December (4pm – 5pm)
An introduction to the series and a virtual tour of the Met Office with Alex Deakin.

Short-term weather forecasting with Nick Law (Met Office).
