President’s Water Forum – Future Change

The South West Area is delighted to announce details of our President’s Water Forum – an afternoon event focusing on meeting future change in the water industry from social, technological and efficiency perspectives.

The event will kick off with a networking lunch in the Viridor Theatre, on the SS Great Britain site at Bristol Harbour.

The key note address will be provided by Mel Karam, Chief Executive of Bristol Water. This will be followed by talks from:

  • Laura Mann – Head of Open Systems at Wessex Water
  • Dr Sarah McMath – Chief Executive of MOSL
  • Paul Hickey – Deputy Director Water Resources at the Environment Agency
  • Gary Charnock – Founder and Director of Ashton Hayes – Going Carbon Neutral and RSK Group.

South West President’s Dinner

This Black Tie event will be IWater South West’s most prestigious event this year. Professor Ruth Allen, The South West Area President would be delighted to see you at the 2019 President’s Dinner, being held on-board the fabulous SS Great Britain, located in Bristol.

The  evening will commence with a drinks reception on deck, followed by a 3 course dinner in the First Class Dining Saloon of the ship.

Diners will have access to explore the whole ship, including the dry dock area.
