Looking to the future and building on the meetings and events of the Standards Group, Future Water is hosting a webinar on 3^rd October (via zoom) to focus on developing:

A vision for regulation and standards – ‘manifesto’ that sets out a narrative that the Water Sector as a whole supports and the regulators can get behind.

The group launched this year and is focused on standards relevant to water and wastewater systems.

The aims of this group include:

• Sharing updates on current standards that members are working on
• Identifying the standards and regulations that are challenging for the sector
• Highlighting where standards are a barrier or incentive for ideas, technologies and innovative solutions
• Engaging with other organisations, regulators, professional bodies and water utilities to develop forward thinking around standards
