Capital and Economic Carbon Specialist, Scottish Water

Chris has over 25 years’ experience in the water sector primarily focused on asset management.

He has worked in construction and delivery of assets and more recently in economic regulation understanding all elements of capital delivery, including an improved understanding of Scottish Water’s long-term maintenance needs.

His current role is focused on driving Scottish Water towards Net Zero by focusing on embodied and whole life carbon reduction. From delivering the tools to allow the delivery teams to measure carbon within their projects, to a new appraisal framework which balances cost and carbon to allow Scottish Water to make the best decisions.

Chris’ main motivation is delivering net zero carbon economically.
