WWT Wales Water Conference 2018 - 17 May 2018

As environmental, social and regulatory pressures increase, the water sector in Wales must ensure that it is resilient enough to deal with an uncertain future.

Safeguarding customers and the environment, investing in the right areas, and mitigating the impacts of flooding, drought and pollution are among the many challenges facing the industry.

The 5th annual WWT Wales Water Conference is the flagship annual gathering for all participants who contribute to, or benefit from, a profitable, sustainable and efficient Welsh Water sector. It brings together key stakeholders to discuss how to build an innovative and resilient future for Wales.

Through engaging and interactive presentations, forward-thinking case studies and external best practice, the event will address the role of the Well-being of Future Generations Act, the implications of Brexit on environmental management and water resources, and the post-Brexit CAP debate. It will explore technical innovation in improving water quality and upscaled catchment management approaches, and assess how we can take a long-term view to protect the future of water in Wales.
