Northumbrian Water Group Launch 'Going the Extra Mile' (GEM) Supplier Recognition Awards

Northumbrian Water Group (NWG) have a clear vision to be the national leader in the provision of sustainable water and waste water services.
Northumbrian Water recognise that along with their own employees the supply chain plays a crucial role in supporting it to achieve this vision. Northumbrian Water spend approximately £400m per annum with the supply chain and consider it vital to work with suppliers who share their drive for excellence whilst delivering outstanding customer service.
To help them create an environment where their suppliers feel valued and are driven to deliver outstanding service, Northumbrian Water are launching the 'Going the Extra Mile' (GEM) Supplier Awards to promote, highlight and celebrate the crucial role that suppliers play in the success of their business.
The aim of the GEM Awards is to:
- Recognise outstanding contributions
- Develop and encourage an environment for continuous improvement
- Support suppliers growth and development
- Celebrate success with NWG Stakeholders
