Future Water Association Awards - Call for Entries

Deadline extended
to Friday 2nd March
When you’re busy with the day to day tasks within your organisation it can be easy to take excellence and best practice for granted, especially when it comes to Health and Safety and the achievements of your people.
Taking the time to recognise your successes by nominating your business for an award is a great way to generate PR as well as boost morale by recognising the achievements and talents within your company.
Entries for the 2017 Future Water Association Awards are now open, and we would like to invite all our members to consider taking part. This year as well as the Health & Safety and People categories we are introducing a new award for Emerging Talent.
Emerging Talent Award
Sponsored by Energy & Utility Skills
Can your company provide the winner of our first Emerging Talent award? Do you have a young person (age 30 or younger) new to your company (within the last five years), possibly an apprentice or graduate that has:
Achieved beyond expectations by bringing something new to your company
Demonstrated/shown leadership
Has an interest in water and the environment
If you know someone within your company that meets the above criteria then why not nominate them for the award?

Health & Safety Award
Sponsored by NEBOSH (the National Examining Board for Occupational Health & Safety)

Good health and safety processes are key to best practice, and you should be able to demonstrate well-developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture; outstanding control of risk; very low levels of error, harm and loss and above all, the ambition to maintain continual improvement

People Award
Sponsored by ACO Water Management

We all recognise that people are the mainstay of any successful company and their contribution to their own organisations and the wider industry needs to be recognised. Do you have individuals (or teams) that have ‘gone that extra mile’ outside of the normal requirements of their work? Perhaps someone who has established a particular process or best practice in the workplace, made an outstanding charitable achievement or body of work across the sector.

Please find Award entry forms under the Event Information above. The judges will be looking for evidence of genuine excellence to support your entry, including dates, and facts and figures, where appropriate.
Please complete your form and return to Angela Long at the Future Water Association: angela@futurewaterassociation.com
Closing date for entries is Friday 2nd March 2018
Awards will be presented at the Awards Lunch event on Thursday 12th April 2018, at the Warwickshire Golf and Country Club, Leek Wootton.
We look forward to receiving your entries!
